Thai Products, Unity for Communities.

Support Thai Craftmanship to the Global.

Discover the beauty of Thai craftsmanship with Absolute Siam Store! Absolute Siam by Siam Piwat is showing its support for local products by taking part in the government initiative “THAINESS STATION: Thai Products, Unity for Communities”. This campaign features pop-up shops at three locations: Siam Paragon’s M floor, Siam Center’s G floor, and ICONSIAM’s 1st floor, with products available for purchase starting today until April 30, 2024.

This campaign is in line with the government’s mission to promote Thai products and craftsmanship as a form of soft power on the global stage. The “THAINESS STATION: Thai Products, Unity for Communities” initiative seeks to achieve this by showcasing and selling products sourced from local artisans across the country at Bangkok’s leading shopping destinations.

Absolute Siam Store has gathered a curated selection of these products for customers, including loincloth textiles, Thai wickerwork, and indigo items, all sourced from local artisans. Notably, the selection includes Loincloth items such as naturally dyed loincloth, hand-woven loincloth, loincloth scarves, and patterned loincloth, sourced from many provinces in Thailand, including Ratchaburi, Udon Thani, and Lampang.

Thai loincloth fabric, renowned for its distinctive, visually appealing nature as well as its versatility, stands out among traditional textiles. The fabric can be fashioned into various forms and designs, such as dresses, skirts, shirts, colorful pants, tote bags, crossbody bags, and more – the patterns and colours of the loincloth differ depending on the province of production.

Customers can also participate in this initiative and contribute to the livelihood of local communities by supporting and promoting local designs and products to a global audience. These products are available for purchase at the “THAINESS STATION:Thai Products, Unity for Communities” pop-up stores from today until April 30 of this year.
